Alec Whitaker is a 2021 grad of Pennsylvania State University. He received a bachelor's degree in journalism and minored in history. He also earned the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism certificate. Alec has worked for various media outlets over the years, starting as a sports stringer for the Pottsville Republican Herald. He then spent time contributing for Phillies Nation and Victory Bell Rings before becoming the editor of Victory Bell Rings in April of 2022, a position he held until May of 2023. In June of 2022, Alec created the Whitaker Media Network, a sports-minded media network that creates YouTube videos and podcasts.
